For the best results apply the oil to dry hair about an hour before you shampoo (or a minimum of 30mins). Then gently cleanse the hair with an organic shampoo (ideally) without rubbing the ends just gently smooth a small amount of shampoo over the hair to remove the excess oil. Your hair will have taken what it needs from the oil.If time is an issue many people find it convenient to do an overnight treatment: apply it an hour before bed (to ensure your hair not the pillow gets the full benefit) leaving it on overnight. Follow by shampooing out the in the morning removing the excess oil allowing your hair to take what it needs.
