You just have to pick the right sunscreen. You should use a light, oil-free, high SPF sunscreen to ensure skin protection from the sun.

"Heavier" sunscreens can clog the skin pores and cause more acne.

Heavy makeup products, particularly thicker liquid foundations, can clog the pores and cause breakouts of acne from within the hair follicles.
But lighter, looser powder foundations aren’t nearly as aggravating to your skin.
